Christmas Picture Updates

I have greatly enjoyed taking some fun pictures of awesome families for their Christmas cards!  I don't want to post any pictures on here until the season is over so as not to ruin their cards.  But in the mean time here is one I took for my Mom's birthday that we had framed for her hallway wall.

And if you are still in need of or want some pictures for Christmas feel free to let me know.  I am pretty flexible over the next weeks, next week after work or the following weeks I am very flexible as we will be on break from school.  Thank you everyone for your interest!  I had a great time photographing a sweet family downtown today which turned out to be an awesome location!

I was blessed to be able to take pictures of this sweet little girl while she was just 5 weeks old.  Her mom was so sweet to contact me to take some family pictures this fall.  Enjoy!

Christmas Cards and Christmas Pictures

I am a full believer in waiting until after Thanksgiving to look at Christmas, but this is just for planning purposes!

I will be offering two days of sessions specifically for family pictures that you can use for Christmas cards or just to have a family Christmas/Holiday picture taken (pets welcome!).

The first option is Saturday, November 30th, 2013 from 9:30 until 12:30.

The second option is Saturday, December 7th from 9:30 until 1:30.

Place: North Carolina Arboretum, Asheville North Carolina (There is an 8 dollar charge per car, if you are a member it is free, or you can carpool and just pay per car).  My choice in using this location is for variety of options for setting rather than everyone having the same backdrop.

What you get: you will get a copy of 3-5 edited pictures to use on Christmas cards, enlarge and frame, print, upload, and do whatever you wish.

Price: You may sign up for a 15 minute time slot or a 30 minute time slot.  15 minute time slot will be 15 dollars.  30 minute time slot is 25 dollars and you will get a few more pictures and poses. Payment due at time of session!!!!!

How to Sign-Up: E-mail me at runninspot@gmail.com and request a time (specify 15 or 30 minutes) and I will verify your time by e-mail.

***If you would rather have a private session at another location (i.e. your house/property, Biltmore Estate, Biltmore Village....) or on another day feel free to contact me for availability.  Prices will be as listed on my price page.

A Fall Family Day

Fall in Asheville is always beautiful, but this year it came in stages and was hard to find the best times for different views.  Fortunately we picked a perfect weekend and location for this beautiful family photo session!  What a joy they were at the Arboretum!

A few months back I had the privilege of taking maternity pictures of this sweet family, The Bollings with the sweet baby inside.  Recently I was able to go back with them to the place we took the maternity pictures and take pictures of the entire family with the new addition!

A Bat Mitzvah

Little Miss Logan

A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to take some pictures of a beautiful 4 week old little girl.  I have to confess I was a bit nervous.  There is always a short moment at the beginning of infant shoots that tests my skills until the baby is calmed and ready.  She was awesome and we came away with some beautiful pictures!

The Bollings

This was my first maternity session and thankfully I had the perfect couple.  This couple has been such a blessing to us over the last year as Courtney was Will's nanny and Matthew made a huge impact on Will during lunch time!

I have no doubts that these two will be wonderful parents.  We can't wait to meet her when she arrives!
