Little Miss Logan

A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to take some pictures of a beautiful 4 week old little girl.  I have to confess I was a bit nervous.  There is always a short moment at the beginning of infant shoots that tests my skills until the baby is calmed and ready.  She was awesome and we came away with some beautiful pictures!

The Bollings

This was my first maternity session and thankfully I had the perfect couple.  This couple has been such a blessing to us over the last year as Courtney was Will's nanny and Matthew made a huge impact on Will during lunch time!

I have no doubts that these two will be wonderful parents.  We can't wait to meet her when she arrives!

Emma and Chris

About a week ago I was asked to shoot a wedding at Laughing Waters in Gerton.  I had never been there but figured it had to be beautiful.  It was gorgeous!  The setting, the bride, the entire wedding was beautiful.  Set on the Summer Solstice, the venue set the tone for this wonderful celebration.

It was an enjoyable wedding and beautiful afternoon to take pictures.  I have to confess, although the setting was perfect, it tested my skills with lighting.  Many of the pictures had to be taken in shaded areas, surrounded by bright sun.  I feel like I learned a lot and came out with some great pictures.

One more confession, the bride was wonderful in being patient while I edited through bouts of "morning/all day sickness" but am finally finished a little more than a week later!

The Kilby Family

This was my first "full family" photo shoot and what a day and family to start with, perfect!  It was wonderful to visit their beautiful home and spend time connecting with such an awesome family.  The girls had such fun personalities and it was great catching up with their mom, its been a while since high school:-)

Also......Shara makes some awesome cakes from weddings to special occasions!

The Lefevre Boys

I had the joy of spending some of the morning at Fletcher Park with these beautiful boys and their new brother.  I am so thankful for this family and their willingness to share their time during this new phase in life.  The boys were a joy and so wonderful as they participated with the "newbie" adjustments I needed to make in lighting and setting.
